I would have to say if it wasn’t my team (St Kilda), I’d like to be drafted by North Melbourne – because I consider them to be good sports, they are located in Melbourne and I would definitely get some game time!

Entry from: St Kilda, Melbourne, Australia Entry Title: “”Home sweet home…”" Entry: “They say moving house is the most stressful thing you do in your life, well after viewing 20 + apartments in Melbourne, i would agree. I spent the first 2 weeks staying in a recently built ‘flashpackers’ in the city, and although nice and clean, it was miles away from where i was working and the kitchen wasn’t big enough to swing a cat in. I had had enough with hostels, I needed my own kitchen, my own bedroom, couch, TV and kitchen! Fortunately so did Dan and Eric (a fellow fruit picker from Bowen who happened to be in melbourne at the time). With the saturday house newspaper in hand we started circling various apartments, the only problem was trying to decided where to live, a conflict of interests started immediately! Eric was adament on living in St Kilda, the cool beach suburb out of town, whereas Dan and I had our hearts set on living in one of the swanky new tower blocks in the city. To be fair to each other we checked out both areas, viewing some nice, and some outright disgusting appartments/ houses! Me and Dan nearly got our own way almost signing on the dotted line on a 2 bedroom fully furnished 30th floor apartment. With views over the city, Swimming pool and Gym we couldn’t really think of anything …
