What is Gurner Street, St Kilda, Melbourne, like to live on?
I have heard that Grey Street in St Kilda is a bit dodgy, and Gurner St comes off this. I am looking at an apartment at the other end of Gurner Street and was wondering what this area would be like to live in?
I don’t know this street, although looking at the map it’s only 5 mins from my house. Seems this area would be ok if you are determined to live in St Kilda.
Consider though that most/all of St Kilda is an entertainment area, and thus attracts crowds of party goers – therefore, Grey Street or not, there is still many people coming and going at all hours, and making all sorts of noises.
Maybe this is what you want – in which case Gurner might be the place for you. But if you are after a happy family oriented quiet place… maybe not.
Hi well like all the inner st kilda streets it’s all matter of how quiet u want coz that they ain’t ok.
It’s great if ur into night life but with all the comings and goings if u get my drift it can be really busy at night OK? ♥
